Have you ever had the craving for some really delicious desserts, but can’t find a good place to go? That’s how the founders of Hello Desserts felt when they decided to open a café to serve only the highest quality desserts from around the world. Now all the dessert lovers out there have a nice and cozy place to go to satisfy their dessert cravings!
After years of looking for great places to eat desserts, one day in the fall of 2000, one of our founders had a wild idea – “If I can’t find the perfect place with everything I want, why don’t I just open one?” Two years of exhaustive research and development later, our founders opened the first Hello Desserts café for business in San Jose in October 2002. From day one, we have started building a loyal group of customers through word of mouth and very little advertising: many customers return frequently and some even come back every day!

Our product offering is a fusion of Western and Eastern desserts, created by our founder’s imaginative minds and adapted to suit the diverse demographics of American consumers.
At Hello Desserts, customers will discover:
- Classic European treats such as gelato & sorbetto
- Gourmet cakes like tiramisu and crème brulee
- American classic cheesecakes
- Freshly brewed Italian-style Oakwood-roasted coffee &
espresso drinks
- A variety of great loose teas & fresh fruit teas
- Hot grilled paninis
- And finally some unique dishes invented by our
founders.
We use only the freshest ingredients to provide not just tasty, but a healthier dessert alternative for our customers to enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere and pleasant ambiance. We currently have 9 categories of products, with over 100 items on our menu. Our aim is to become a one-stop shop for all the dessert lovers out there!
